Real-World Flash Game Development is on SafariBooks
Posted on February 9th, 2010 6 commentsA number of people have asked me about a digital version of the book. While my publisher has assured me that such an electronic version is on the way from them, Jason Fincanon pointed me to Safari Books today, where a digital edition is already available! Hopefully this will prove helpful to people who either didn’t want a paper copy (save the trees!) or who were unable to purchase one because of their location.

Hi, is there any way to get electronic version without payment? I already purchased your book at Amazon, and it’s great book I think, but most of time I work with Flash on late night hours in dark room, so it’s much easier in this case to read a book from screen.
Thanks.

Andrey,
I’m still waiting to hear back from my publisher as to when they plan to have their own electronic version ready. I totally understand not wanting to pay twice for the same material. I’ll let you know what I’m able to work out. -

Safari Books link: File not Found…
Also while im here, just picked up your book from my University Library and think its a great source of knowledge, just looking to program my first real game (made Monopoly and Space Invaders on Visual Basic, but thats the extent of my experience)

Thanks Craig, I appreciate the feedback! I was just now able to load the Safari Books link – maybe try copying and pasting directly?
